賽前已知確定晉級四強，中華男籃隊換下 3名主力，對抗整齊的
擊國隊，一路落後、且比分差距愈拉愈大，最終以 68：110慘敗
，明晚兩隊四強賽將再戰。
這場比賽，原本是攸關中華隊能否晉級四強的關鍵戰，要贏才有
機會，門票賣出6030張，現場接近7000名觀眾，由於伊朗擊敗約
旦，護送中華隊提前進四強，雙方明晚還得再對決，因此，中華
隊決定讓曾文鼎、陳信安、林志傑休息，使得傳統的中韓大戰走
調，變成雙方都在練兵。
中華隊總教練周俊三希望讓鋒衛球員多上場，找回手感和自信，
上半場只有簡嘉宏與張宗憲兩人撐場面，難與整體戰力發揮的韓
國對抗，第二節比分差距就拉大到兩位數，第三節韓國隊拉大到
76：50，差距到25分，勝負已見分曉，許多球迷到第 4節已經起
身離去，
簡嘉宏攻下全場最高29分，張宗憲則拿到11分，其他得分在個位
數；韓國隊有6名球員得分兩位數，其中趙成?24分、金榮煥17分
